Otago Māori and Pacific Islands Festival 2022

From September 12 the largest Otago Southland Pacific Festival (a week long) will be happening at the Edgar Centre. Kavanagh will be performing on the evening of Thursday, 15th September.
Kavanagh students spent many hours together from Saturday to Sunday practicing and perfecting their performances. They are performing items from, Kai Tahu, Nga Puhi, Samoa, the Cook Islands and the Kingdom of Tonga.
We were very blessed to have Father Hookie come and celebrate the Mass for us in the School Chapel.
The students worked very hard and received a well deserved ice cream.
