In Week 7, Matua Frederic came to visit the Year 10 Te Reo Māori class. Fred is from France and he also speaks Māori. Frederic and his co-workers are creating a Te Reo Māori language learning / translation website. The name of this is Te Kaiwhakamāori. The website was tested out by the students, as Fred and his team want to gather feedback. From this students can see the benefits of 2 areas of knowledge. If you know Māori language and have skills in digitial teachnology there will be pathways open to you.
