Last week four groups of students from Kavanagh presented scenes at the Shakespeare Festival which they’d been preparing all term.
All winter sports sub charges have now been added to school accounts.
This term the Year 7 and 8 Water Polo teams competed in the Otago Water Polo intermediate school’s competition.

Rehearsals are well underway for The London Operation, a full-length play about an undercover operation that’s full of mishaps, spy gadgets, laughs and lots of fun.
In Week 2 of Term 2, Kavanagh College will hold its inaugural Book Week!!
The season started for our Year 7 and 8 students with a session led by Lauren Jarvie and a group of fantastic Senior A and B netballers.
Today we were fortunate to be visited by Pauline and Lynette from K9MD. K9MD is a charitable trust whose aim is to train dogs for non-invasive medical detection, specifically cancer, right here in little old Dunedin.

Sophie Hannagan from 7DGR raised over $1000 for Relay for Life.

On Monday 11 April, 70 students headed north to take on St Kevin's in our annual sports exchange
The Senior A Girls Volleyball team competed in the Otago Volleyball Champs at the weekend and were very competitive and played very well throughout the weekend.
Emma Christophers competed at the NZ Surf Lifesaving IRB Champs in Māhia over the weekend.

Year 13 Geography students spent the day on the south coast recently, gathering data for their research internal ‘Coastal Processes’.
