On Wednesday night down at KVC the local Dunedin handball school comp wrapped up for the term with the finals for the grades.

Trinity has three handball teams playing on Wednesday nights, the junior team who play in the junior grade, and also two teams in the top grade the senior A boys and girls.

In the junior grade, the junior team managed to win their grade with a win over Bayfield to seal the deal on the last day. The senior A girls ended up getting third in the top division in the end which is a really good result and they have some great players coming through, which is great for the future of the team. Finally, the senior A boys managed to get the job done and beat Logan Park in the final of the senior A division 17-6 in a dominant performance.

Overall it has been a very successful term of handball at Trinity with all of our teams performing at a high level. It has been great to see just how strong handball is at trinity.

A big thank you to Annalise Wilson, Madi Sutherland and Jack Harris for their commitment to coaching and to Gus and Agost who have helped with training.
