Update - PPTA Industrial Action Suspended

We have been advised by The National Executive of PPTA Te Wehengarua that strike action by PPTA members is to be suspended.
The purpose of the suspension of strike action is to allow the Ministry of Education to work with urgency to explore options for revised offers.
Period of suspension -
The suspension of strike action will be from 7:00am Monday 22 May 2023 to 11:59pm Tuesday 30 May 2023.
Strike action suspended -
Week 5: Thursday 25 May - Year 11 should now attend school
Week 6: Tuesday 30 May - Year 13 should now attend school
This means that school will run as usual for all year levels from today until next Tuesday 30 May.
Unless we receive further communication from the PPTA, strike action will resume on Wednesday 31 May 2023, meaning the following year levels will be rostered home.
Resumption of strike action -
Week 6: Thursday 1 June - Year 12
Week 7: Tuesday 6 June - Year 10 and Thursday 8 June - Year 9
