Reminder to Report Absences Accurately

With the increased attention on attendance at school, we are sending a friendly reminder to all parents and caregivers about the importance of reporting a clear reason for your child's absence from school. Ministry requirements mean teachers, deans and school administration staff must accurately report the reason for a student being away from school. If your child is sick, or has another valid reason for being absent from school, then please either phone the office ahead of time, leave a message on our absences line, or email the school directly through the following email;

Should your child arrive to school late, or need to leave early for an important appointment that cannot be made after school hours (eg. Doctor, Dentist), please remind them that they must sign out and in to school at the main office.
