It is not unusual for teenagers to be secretive and in many aspects, it is harder for them than it was for our generation to hide their antics from their parents. We grew up without cellphones, GPS type apps and the immediacy of being able to contact anyone, anytime. Some teenagers rebel against this by going underground and this article shares some tips to help you if you are feeling it is an issue in your household.

At school, our primary aim is to focus our ākonga on their learning as well as supporting them with pastoral care. We expect them to be visible on our networks to support these goals. We are in the process of introducing them to our new digital use agreement which we will share with parents within the month.
