A Message from our Principal

This is our final newsletter at the end of what has been a short and intense term complete with short weeks as well! Of course, this doesn’t mean we cut anything out of the calendar, so there are some tired young people who are well ready for a rest during the next two weeks.
I encourage you to have a good read of our latest copy of ‘Trinitas’ which will be emailed to you. Our Arts Coordinator, Tor Devereux, has again put together a wonderful summary of highlights from term two. We have had many phone calls into the office already, regarding enrolment for next year. If you know people who are interested in finding out more about Trinity as an option for their child’s education, please feel free to share this term’s copy of Trinitas with them.
We are excited to learn that our new Arts Block – Pompallier Building – won the Southern Architecture Award (Education) 2025, and it will now progress into the National Awards. It is certainly a wonderful building to learn and teach in, and we continue to feel very fortunate to showcase our visual and performing arts curriculum in such a special environment. Congratulations to McCoy and Wixon Architects who are very deserving of this award. Along with the Pompallier Arts Building, we are excited that the plans for refurbishing the Auditorium are nearly complete, with just a little more fundraising yet to happen. We are looking forward to new seating and carpet throughout the auditorium to begin our 2026 year! Our next big project is the Courts and Sporting facilities. Again, the financial value of this project will be big, and we will need your support! But the value that our sportspeople and PE clases gain from this will be immense. We are excited to soon be able to offer high quality facilities for our performing artists and our sportspeople. After all, understanding the importance of growing one’s God-given gifts and talents for the benefit of many, underpins our Catholic holistic education.
Speaking of which – our Musical was phenomenal! What an enjoyable evening’s entertainment. The talent from so many different students, was a joy to behold. To the staff and volunteers who continue to commit hours and hours of work to our Musicals – thank you! You are such an important part in supporting our talented performers to flourish.
I hope that you enjoy the school holiday break and a chance to relax the routines and enjoy some quieter time as a family, living each day as it comes. We look forward to a warmer, spring term ahead.
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”
