Trinity Wordsmith has placed in National Competition

Congratulations to Dorothy Baricuatro who has gained a 'Highly Commended' placing in the 2026 Landfall Tauraka Young Writers’ Essay Prize.

Landfall is our most prestigious literary journal, publishing some of our most accomplished writers. The competition takes entries from around the country from writers aged 16-25. It is a commendable achievement to be placed within the top entries and is a testament to Dorothy's eloquence in writing.

Her personal essay Taga Ibang Bansa is a moving and reflective piece on identity and culture. We look forward to seeing how this talented writer continues to foster her talents in the coming years.
