Brighton Backyard Ultra: Open to Secondary School Teams!

Dear School Sports Enthusiasts

I’m excited to invite your school to take part in the 2025 Brighton Backyard Ultra – “Running in Paradise”, starting Saturday 27th September. This is more than just a race – it's a celebration of community, endurance, and friendly competition!

This year, we are launching a brand new team challenge: Secondary School v’s Secondary School. It’s mate v’s mate, runner v’s runner, and school v’s school in the ultimate test of stamina and teamwork.

Team Details:

• 4 runners per team

• Each loop (yard) = 6.7km

• Winning school = most combined yards run

• Entry: $20 per runner

• Open to all secondary schools

• All normal Backyard Ultra Rules must be followed. 

This is a community event, and we are proud to announce that the King’s High School Cross Country Team is our charity partner for 2025.

Whether your students are seasoned cross country athletes or just keen for a challenge, this is an unforgettable experience — with bragging rights on the line for the inaugural team champions!
