Pacific Information Fono: Studying at the University of Otago

The University of Otago's Pacific Islands Centre is pleased to be hosting a Pacific Information Fono on Wednesday, 1 July 2026, for our local Pacific communities in Dunedin.

The purpose of this session is to provide students and their families with valuable information about studying at the University of Otago. Topics will include scholarship opportunities, accommodation options, StudyLink assistance, and the range of services available to help students transition successfully into university.

We warmly invite all Pacific students at your school, along with their parents, caregivers, and whānau, to join us for an evening of information, discussion, and refreshments.

This event is open to Pacific students of all year levels. We believe that preparing for university does not begin in Year 13 — it begins much earlier. By providing students and their families with the right information now, we can help ensure they are well prepared to make informed decisions about their future.
