Monologue Mash Up Success

Late last year, some of our students participated in the Monologue Mash-Up: a unique form of arts and cultural exchange/drama competition between students from different secondary or tertiary institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.
Schools participating in the recent competition were from NZ, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. Students wrote and performed original monologues, and received mentorship and guidance from Dr Ken Mizusawa (an award winning NZ playwright) who is currently working at Nanyang Technological University.
Year 12 Trinity student Made Newson, received 2nd place with her monologue, "Why Should I Care". This is a very big accomplishment in an international competition, so well done Made! Special mention to Greg Twardowski who was a finalist in the competition.
Congratulations Made, we are very proud of your stellar achievement!
