Hip Hop Nationals

It was a fantastic showing by the Trinity crews at the national hip hop competition last weekend.
On Saturday 6 September, Trinity Catholic College and Otago were represented at the Hip Hop Nationals in Christchurch by two crews:
Titanium (Year 7/8) - Emilia Batson, Sera Binu, Alice Connelly, Sophiah Hindle, Molly Peters, Sierra Read, Zaiha Sait, Sasanka Wickramagedara
Zeer (Senior Mini Crew) - Evie de Graaf, Lola van de Klundert
The level of the competition was extremely high (as expected) and our crews danced incredibly well with both making it through to the finals.
At the end of the day, our junior crew came 5th, while our senior duo secured an amazing 2nd place in their section - well done!! Congratulations to both teams on their commitment, perseverance, and hard work throughout the whole year.
A huge thank you to Claire Peters who managed the crews at the nationals and helped with transport and accommodation and also to Simone Read who assisted Claire at the competition. We really appreciate everything you did for the students.
