Nano Nagel Fundraiser

Head Prefect Jack Waterworth set up a social justice project called 'Move For More'.

He explained "Move For More was a fun run/walk event supported by pupils at the College to raise money for kids who don't have the same opportunities many of us take for granted."

He went on to say "This was inspired by a serious knee injury I suffered last year that forced me to reflect on how lucky many of us are to have opportunities."

The money was presented to members of the Nano Nagle Charitable Trust at a Trinity Catholic College Assembly on Wednesday 26th August.

The Nano Nagle Charitable Trust supports children unable to attend a Catholic School because of financial hardship and is totally reliant on donations and on fundraising.

This year has been very challenging for parents and the Trust is grateful to be able to assist especially in situations where families are faced with unexpected financial stresses such as unemployment, sickness, bereavement, etc.

Jack's initiative is so greatly appreciated and enables us to continue this work: it will assist one child for 4 years or 4 children for one year. We are so grateful to these young people.
