RockQuest Regional Final Brings Awards

Congratulations to all the Trinity bands that took to the stage at the RockQuest Regional Final last Friday at the Regent Theatre.
The Velveteen, Niche, The Late News, and Rishi (who plays in the band Eris with students from other schools) all did Trinity proud with their polished performances which the audience loved.
Each band playing in the finals presented two original songs and there was a real range of styles and sounds. The dedication and commitment of all the musicians was clearly evident, and the students all looked like they were really enjoying the whole experience.
We were all thrilled to learn at the end of the evening that Trinity students had won two awards:
APRA Lyric Award - Akein Wickramagedara (The Late News)
Best Vocals Award - Camila Barns & Laura McCartney (Niche)
