Sports and Cultural Blues Evening

Last week on Wednesday 11 October, Trinity Catholic College held its inaugural Sports and Cultural Blues Evening to recognise our top performers in a variety of sporting and cultural fields.
Our guest speaker at the event was John Rendall, a former student who is now the Head of Technology and Innovation at Animation Research Ltd. John talked about some of the projects he’s been involved with at Animation Research and explained the importance of relationships, passion, and innovation in his work. He also told us about being part of the tech crew for musicals when he was at Kavanagh College and how memorable that experience was.
At the Sports and Cultural Blues Evening students were presented with Manaakitaka Awards, Gold Awards, and Blues Awards to recognise their service and successes in a wide variety of sporting and cultural activities throughout the year. Congratulations to everyone who crossed the stage and received an award. The full list of recipients is in the attachment below.
