Te Whetū Tīrama attends Te Hautoka

On Sunday, for the first time in nearly twenty years, Trinity Catholic College's Te Whetū Tīrama entered Te Hautoka which is the Otago Southland Secondary Schools' Kapa Haka Competition. Even though the Musical dress rehearsal and other events were on for many of our students, we still had 29 students represent our college. This group was made up of our Year 11 NCEA Te Ao Haka students and the rest were Kapa Haka from year 9-13. A big thank you to the Coles whānau and to St Hilda's for helping us out with piupiu. We are proud of our students' courage to step onto the stage and perform so well.
