Joseph Kelly competed in the Dunedin Performing Arts Competitions Society (DPACS) junior vocal competition on the weekend.
He sang eight songs, gaining 1st place for five categories, and placing 2nd for three. He won special awards in the 14-and-under-16 section:
- Aparima Classical award
- Cleveland Contemporary award
- Age group scholarship
He also won the all-round performer prize cup.
Joseph will be playing Prince Hans and Simba in Taieri Musical Society's upcoming junior productions of Frozen & Lion King.
