Junior O'Mathlon 2025

The Junior O'Mathlon ran on August 21st at the FM Arena in the Edgar Centre. It involves over 900 kids from around Otago competing in year levels (from Year 5 to Year 10) throughout the day. Students are in teams solving maths puzzles and running back and forth to a marker. (The runners typically cover over 2 km each). Each year level has about 40 teams, so the competition is tough.

Trinity had two teams for each year level from years 7-10. Of particular note were our Year 7s placing 6th, and our Year 8s placing 4th, both very strong performances against some very good teams. What a great effort!
