Senior A Girls Volleyball Team Shines this Season

What a season it has been for our Senior A Girls Volleyball team!

We are proud to be the Volleyball Otago Championship winners, taking home the gold medal and securing the Otago No. 1 spot for Nationals. This achievement saw us compete in Divisions 1 and 2 at Nationals against some of the top secondary school teams in the country.

Nationals, held in Palmerston North, provided an incredible week of high-level competition, growth, and memorable experiences. The team finished an impressive 30th out of 98 teams nationwide — a fantastic result in such a competitive field.

Our success didn’t stop there. This season also included:

• 1st Place –Volleyball Otago Champs

• 1st Place- Division 2 Mainlands Tournament (bringing the trophy back to Trinity)

• 2nd Place – Volleyball Otago Invitational Tournament

• Finalists – Weekly Competition

Throughout the season, the team consistently worked towards their goals, developing both as individual players and as a cohesive, resilient unit. Their commitment, determination, and teamwork have been outstanding. Overall, it has been a fantastic season filled with growth, achievement, and pride.
