Wig Wednesday

Help us support the Child Cancer Foundation on the 3rd of September.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Each year approximately 150 children are diagnosed with cancer. While most are cured, there can be lifelong impacts both physically and emotionally.

As a school we will be raising funds and awareness for the Child Cancer Foundation by taking part in Wig Wednesday 2025. The Child Cancer Foundation offer one-to-one support to every child with cancer and their family throughout their whole journey. Due to no government funding, they require donations to keep this fantastic mahi going.

Please support this excellent cause by taking part in Wig Wednesday on the 3rd of September by coming in a colourful wig and donating a gold coin. Please note that this is not a mufi-day and school uniform is still required. If you would like to donate ahead of time or in larger amounts, you are welcome to do so via our Wig Wednesday page – all donations go directly to the Child Cancer Foundation.
