Year 9 - 13 Netball Trials and Sign-Ups

Netball trials are approaching, even with summer sport still in full swing.

This link will lead you through to our netball club website and a sign up form. The sign up form needs to be completed by the player using their Trinity account. It asks for preferred positions and netball intentions. Our Director of Sporty, Mr Michael MacKenzie will also send out a winter sport registration where you can tick netball. Both are required.

Selector availability, management with regard to volleyball practices and tournaments, as well as booking court time at Edgar Centre requires quite a lot of logistical organisation and navigation, so these dates and times are firm. So we are giving a lot of notice so you can organise your diaries. Please plan to be at both trials. 

Senior Netball Team Trials (Edgar Centre)

• Tues 10 March 4:15 pm - 5:30 pm. Warm up to be ready to go on the court at 4:30 pm.

• Wed 11 March 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Be warm and ready to play.

Years 9 and 10 teams (Edgar Centre)

• Tues 17 March 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Warm up to be ready to go on promptly.

• Mon 23 March 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Warm up to be ready to go on promptly.

There will be some netball conditioning sessions this term when weather and/or venue line up. They will be on a Tuesday. From term 2, they will be every Tuesday in the gym to help the tournament teams build their strength and endurance. These will be signaled to those who sign up for trials.

Please also let me know if you are interested in being involved as a coach, manager, fundraiser (for tournaments) or umpire. We welcome you all. I act as the Teacher in Charge of Netball and I work closely with Michael MacKenzie for Years 9 - 13 netball.
