Otago Secondary School Swimming Champs 2026

On Sunday the 28th June, four Trinity students competed in the Otago Secondary School Swimming Champs at Moana pool. Results achieved over the day of competition are listed below.
Congratulations to all our students and a big thanks to Jessica Lemon for managing the team, and to Karien Vermaak for timekeeping.
Anabel Rutledge
Girls 14 & under 200m Freestyle = 3rd place
Jake Lemon
Boys 14 & under 200m Freestyle = 2nd place
Chester Osborne
Boys 14 & under 400m Freestyle = 1st place
Boys 14 & under 100m Freestyle = 2nd place
Boys 14 & under 100m Butterfly = 2nd place
Boys 14 & under 50m Butterfly = 3rd place
Despite back-to-back races, the Trinity team also did really well in the two relay events:
Mixed 4x50m medley relay = 4th
Mixed 4x50m freestyle relay = 4th
Elias Landschoof: PB in the 50m senior boys freestyle 28.83
