Alex Burgess Squash Achievement

On Thursday 5th March, Alex joined many other juniors from all over NZ in Christchurch for the NZ Junior Squash Open. Alex won his first game in 3 and his second in 5 which pushed him into the final of his division. He lost that game in 3, finishing runner up in his division against other boys of a similar grade.

It was an amazing tournament to be a part of and Alex has taken away some great learnings and had a wonderful experience. We even got to got to the Isaac Theatre Royal to watch the professionals - including NZ's own Paul Coll - playing in the NZ Open on the glass court on stage, which was a real highlight.

Well done Alex! We know you already cannot wait for next year!
