Hip Hop Unite!

Year 7 Trinity Student Lilly Hamilton took part in the exciting Hip Hop Unite dance competition in Wellington over the past weekend with her hip hop crew Wild 1’s.

Hip Hop Unite is New Zealand’s premier street dance competition, where the country’s top crews and dancers compete for national titles and the opportunity to represent Aotearoa at the World Championships. Raw talent, high energy, and next-level performances, this is hip hop at its best.

While Lilly's crew didn’t place and go through to the World Champs, they did incredibly well up against some very tough competition. The crew kept smiling and did so well under pressure, and by the looks of the photos, they enjoyed every minute of their time away competing on the national stage. The crew compete again in July in Invercargill for the NZ Schools Hip Hop competition, and we wish Lilly and her Wild 1's crew all the very best for this exciting competition.
