Safe on Social often post articles that are thought provoking and challenging actions or behaviours that we may have absorbed as 'normal'.

This latest article "How Zuckerberg made your kids the new Operating system" is challenging as it provokes us with the thought that we have all by default helped build AI- generated influencers by innocently posting our lives on social media. We have innocently uploaded our lives, including our children's lives, and by default, provided a rich digital databank to support the development of AI.

This article follows on from one earlier in the year that was shared in this newsletter that encourages us to consider our digital privacy, and how precious that is to protect, but so very difficult.

Teenagers often roll their eyes at our online safety messages and we encourage you as caregivers to be aware and support us to teach our young people to be curious and ask questions if something doesn't feel right.
