Special Character Report

By Special Character Prefects | Posted: Thursday February 12, 2026

As we settle into the new school year, we are reminded that our school’s Catholic Special Character isn’t just something we talk about — it is something that shapes how we live out each day at school. It challenges us to grow not only in knowledge, but in faith. Whether it’s showing integrity in our work, choosing kindness when it’s difficult, or supporting someone who needs it, these small daily actions matter.

Our hope is that this year we collectively continue to deepen our faith in God, so that we may become a community that genuinely reflects His love.

We are also starting a simple new prayer initiative: an open prayer session each Friday interval. This will be a quiet, informal space for anyone who would like to begin the day in prayer. The location for these prayer sessions will be in Te Kaika Moana. All students are welcome.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of our school community. Guide us as we grow in faith this year. Help us to act with integrity, love others sincerely, and honour You in all we do.
Amen.
