2025 Student leaver accounts
By Nathan Sortehaug | Posted: Tuesday October 21, 2025
While students are enrolled at Trinity Catholic College, they are provided with user accounts for email access and storage to save their work.
Unfortunately, we cannot maintain access to Trinity email and storage accounts for student leavers.
For students leaving at the end of 2025, your accounts will remain active until Monday, 12 January 2026, after which they will be disabled and deleted. You won’t be able to access them beyond this date unless you get an exemption for exceptional circumstances.
Students leaving should do the following before this date:
Emails
If you want to keep any emails from your school Gmail account, forward them to a personal email.
If you receive important emails at your Trinity email, ask senders to send future emails to your personal email.
Update any online accounts linked to your school email to a personal email if you still need access, or set up an alternative recovery method at the very least.
Files
Download any personal or schoolwork files stored in school Apple iCloud, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or other school accounts that you want to keep, and save them locally or on your personal cloud account.
Remember, if you’ve been using Microsoft Office 365 through your school account, it will no longer be available once the account is disabled. If you're moving on to tertiary studies, you might get access to Office 365 with a tertiary email. Otherwise, you can buy your own Microsoft Office 365 subscription or choose an alternative Microsoft Office product or compatible software.
