South American Visitors

It's not everyday that we get a group of visitors from South America!

Last Friday we hosted a group of 12 international education agents and teachers from Brazil and Colombia. The group were on a familiarization tour of New Zealand and we were lucky and honoured they chose to visit Dunedin and Trinity Catholic College.

The group spent the morning with us at school and then enjoyed looking around Dunedin City in the afternoon.

A highlight was the mihi whakatau to welcome them to 'our place' - pictured above. This week we received an email from the group's leader after he had returned to Brazil. It said how much the group had enjoyed their time at Trinity Catholic College and in Dunedin, and made special mention of our Kapa Haka group and how much the group had appreciated their special welcome.

Ngā mihi nui Kapa Haka, leaders for the day Therese Tili and Lucas MacLeod, and Matua Tait!
