Year 9 Retreat

Stunning day to begin the year for Year 9 teachers and students.
On Thursday 12th February Year 9 came together with their teachers and Eddie Rice leaders (Trinity Senior students and ex-pupils) to celebrate a day getting to know each better through co-operative games and challenges. We started the day with a beautiful Mass, celebrated by our chaplain Fr Hook, with the theme of 'belonging and inclusion' setting the tone for the day.
We then moved up to Robin Hood park for a morning run by our own Eddie Rice leaders - massive thanks to Ms Bresanello for organising this, we had so much fun! After lunch we walked over to Moana Pool where we swam, played on the inflatables, dived and 'manued' in the dive well, played in the wave pool and had the water slides to ourselves. Many students now have 'new' friends and it was great to see the fun and camaraderie for all.
Many thanks to all who made this day so much fun and so valuable at this time of year.
