First XI Girls Football – Division Champions!

A huge congratulations to our First XI Girls Football team, who have taken out their division in an outstanding final against Logan Park. The match was nothing short of thrilling, with the girls showing true grit and determination. After trailing in the first half, they staged an incredible comeback in the second, sealing the win with a 3–2 victory. The energy on the pitch kept spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

We would like to extend a special thank you to coach Luiz Christofoletti for his guidance, commitment, and support of the team throughout the season. Another heartfelt thanks goes to Barbara Long, Chair of the Board, who has generously refereed First XI Football games over the past few years. Your knowledge and passion for the game has been invaluable to both players and supporters alike.

The season is not quite over yet — our girls are now preparing to travel to Timaru this Sunday to compete in the Satellite Secondary Schools Tournament. We wish them all the very best as they take their winning spirit into this next challenge.
