Chester's Stellar Swimming Success

Congratulations to Chester Osborne (Year 9) on truly outstanding achievements competing in all three races of the 2026 Southern Lake Swim Series. At the Ruby Lake Swim in Wānaka, Chester placed second in his age group and fourth overall in the 800m race. He then backed this up at Swim Ruataniwha with another excellent result, finishing second overall in the challenging 1.5km event.

Then, last weekend Chester competed in the Wakatipu Legend Swim in Queenstown and he achieved an exceptional result, placing third overall and taking out first place in his age group in the demanding 2km solo swim.

To perform at such a high level across multiple events is a remarkable accomplishment, and one that reflects both hard work and dedication. We congratulate Chester on these fantastic achievements and look forward to seeing what he accomplishes next.
