Shakespeare Festival

The Otago Regional Shakespeare Festival is taking place next Thursday (26 March) at the King’s and Queen’s Performing Arts Centre, and Trinity has four groups entered in the competition.

The Festival takes place during the day (9am - 3pm) and is open to the public. Entry costs $10 for adults and $5 for students - cash only - all welcome. Trinity will be performing at the beginning of the afternoon session at 1pm. Following the daytime event, some performances will be selected to take part in an evening showcase starting at 6pm.

The Trinity students have been rehearsing hard all term and will present four different student-directed 5-minutes scenes:

The students are looking forward to performing their pieces at the Festival, as well as watching all the scenes from the other secondary schools in the region.
