GPS Symposium: Navigating the Teenage Years

The Guiding Pathways and Strategies (GPS) Symposium: Navigating the Teen Years, is to be hosted at St Hilda's on 18 and 19 August

This event is for all parents, caregivers and educators who support young people.

There will be a full programme of visiting and local speakers who will be covering topics such as relationships, communication, self-harm, body image, pornography, resilience, nutrition, sport, neurodiversity, alcohol and drug use, spirituality, cybersafety, anxiety, future employment and more. 

Many of the speakers are top academics and practitioners in their fields and will present their latest research findings, in addition to offering useful, practical tips and advice for supporting our rangatahi through the teenage years. 

Keynotes will be presented by broadcaster Stacey Morrison and former MP Katherine Rich.
