Trinity Boys Rugby Update

Our Senior Boys have had a very solid start to 2025. With a challenging first up match, the team regathered well and have since had convincing wins over JMC and OBHS respectively.

With a broad mix of 9 - 13 students, the team has gelled exceptionally well with our senior students showing significant leadership within the group, on and off the field. Our juniors have benefited greatly from this and have put in some very good performances.

There is a fantastic level of skill and athleticism within this team and with the support of Paul Thompson, Brendan Jarvie and Michael Jago the season ahead looks very positive indeed. We look forward to watching this team progress across the season.

Trinity Girls Rugby - Two from Two

After a classy first up win against St. Hilda's, our Trinity Girls team continued their dominant form last week as they dispatched QHS 77-5 with a fast paced and skillful display. There were some outstanding team and individual tries during the match. The ball was spun wide but the girls were also more than willing to take it into contact with tremendous effect.

Under the guidance of Mika Mafi the combinations are starting to form and the confidence is high. The girls are training very hard, with fitness and team based sessions twice a week. This hard work is definitely showing out on the field.

A big thanks must go out to all the parents for their continued support and encouragement. Congratulations on the amazing start girls - keep up the great work!
