Regional Debate Competition a Valuable Opportunity

Trinity Catholic College had its youngest team ever compete in the Otago Debating Regionals over the weekend
Year 10 students Joseph Kelly, Akein Wickramagedara and Che McGivern competed in the intensive competition. This phenomenal team challenged senior students in six debates and argued sophisticated motions. Despite being one of the youngest teams there, they won 50% of their debates.
The Trinity Debating Club are extremely proud of this team's achievements. We appreciate the skills and excitement that they bring back to the debating club, motivating our younger members in the art of debate!
