Pink Shirt Day 2025

Pink Shirt Day went amazingly well last week at Trinity Catholic College as the school turned pink to stand up to bullying and support a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone.
We saw many students participating in the different activities running throughout the week in the library and even more supporting the day itself (Friday 16 May) by wearing pink clothing.
The activities in the library included bracelet making, a quiz, colouring and then on Friday we added the Photo Booth where students were able to take photos promoting the day and the overall message of diversity and inclusivity, and standing up to bullying.
It was wonderful to see students joining in all the different activities, showing their support, and encouraging others to do so as well.
With the donations the students made on Friday, the school has raised $250 to be donated to the Mental Health Foundation which runs Pink Shirt Day in New Zealand and provides important services to the community in the area of mental health and wellbeing.
