Attendance Matters
By Administration | Posted: Friday February 27, 2026
Trinity has an Attendance Management Plan that you can find on the School Information page of our website and you can also read it here.
We aim to lift our termly attendance by 5% this year. This means we will lift our yearly attendance to 71.5% compared to 66.5% in 2025. This is the number of students who are regularly attending school.
Regular attendance is being present for 90% of school time (i.e. not missing more than an average of half a day per week).
We use a traffic light system:
You can check your child’s attendance on Helix which updates daily.
Be aware that medical absences still count as absences (code information here)
We ask all parents/caregivers to keep us informed of all absences in a timely way. You can do this by ringing or emailing the office, or use the Helix app to communicate the absence.
Please organise appointments outside of school hours whenever possible.
If you have had a discussion with the Principal, or her delegate, about being away for a period of time (eg overseas travel), you will not receive automated emails until your return.
