Year 10 Economics Update: Kids Voting General Election 2023

Students cast their vote in either the Dunedin electorate or the Taieri electorate.
They took on vital roles, closely mirroring those of an official election, to ensure the voting process was authentic and educational. These roles included Electoral Managers, Enrolment Officers, the Communication Team, Issuing Officers, and Counters.
The excitement continues as we eagerly anticipate the outcomes of our students' votes, which were sent to a national database for collation. It will be fascinating to compare their choices with the actual results of Saturday’s General Election.
