Special Character Report: Feast of Corpus Christi

The Feast of Corpus Christi reminds us that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist and that we are called to be His Body in the world today. The words “Corpus Christi” mean “Body of Christ,” which helps us remember that when we receive Jesus in the Eucharist, we are united with Him and with one another.

For young people, this feast is important because it encourages us to live like Jesus through our words and actions. By showing kindness, helping others, standing up for what is right, and sharing God’s love, we become the Body of Christ in the world. This feast reminds us that Jesus works through us to bring hope, compassion, and faith to those around us.
