Attendance Dues

By Kate Nicholson | Posted: Wednesday March 8, 2023

All parents will now have received their Attendance Dues invoice from the Diocese.

Upon enrolment, you agreed to pay this legal fee to have your child/ren educated in an Integrated College. Currently the Dunedin Diocese is following up $1.5 million of attendance dues arrears. This affects the finances available to the Diocese to support its schools in Otago and Southland.

I realise that this is an extra cost to your child's schooling at a time when the cost of living is putting significant pressure on families. I encourage you to speak confidentially with a senior member of staff if you need extra financial support for either attendance dues payments or for school costs.

You will note on the invoice sent to you from the Diocese, that if you do not pay the full invoice by 31st March, you are required to set up a payment plan which is an option that many families take. Please also note, this payment is made directly to the Diocese as per the information on the invoice. If you have not yet received an emailed invoice, please check your spam email box, or contact the college office to ensure that your contact details are correct on our system.

As a Catholic schooling system we are committed to providing value-added education underpinned by a strong sense of social justice and gospel values. To allow us to do this, your financial commitment is greatly appreciated.
