World Mission Sunday

World Mission Sunday is a global day of prayer, sacrifice, and financial support for the Catholic Church's missionary work. It provides essential funds and support for local churches, schools, hospitals, and other initiatives in areas of the world where the Church is new, young, or struggling. This year, World Mission Sunday was celebrated on Sunday 19th October 2025.

The theme for World Mission Sunday 2025 is "Missionaries of Hope Among All Peoples." This theme was chosen by Pope Francis and highlights the fundamental call for all baptized Christians to be messengers and builders of hope, especially during the Jubilee Year.
