Performance Sport Triathlon Challenge!

Our Year 7–9 Performance Sport students took on an exciting triathlon-style challenge this week, designed to test their physical limits and, more importantly, their ability to work together under pressure.

In teams of four, students rotated through different stations. Two team members kicked things off by sharing a 1000m stint on the rowing machine, before regrouping for a full-team lap of the run course. From there, a different pair jumped onto the bikes to split another 1000m, with everyone coming together again for a final team run to the finish.

The focus of the session was all about communication, encouragement, and supporting one another through moments of fatigue - and the students absolutely delivered. It was fantastic to see groups strategising, cheering each other on, and digging deep to complete each leg with determination and pride.

There were impressive efforts right across the board, but what stood out most was the genuine teamwork on display. Whether it was pacing together on the run, swapping out efficiently on the rower or bike, or offering words of motivation when teammates were feeling the burn, our students showed what collaborative sport is all about.

A huge well done to everyone involved - an awesome mix of challenge, effort, and camaraderie!
