Emerging Players Call Up

We are super excited to be opening up registrations to a number of Dunedin Emerging Players Musters to ensure that we are able to bring all athletes within the age groups together, to ensure that we are providing opportunity for all to compete for a spot to our Emerging Pathway Programme. We will have our coaches who will observing the Muster and making their recommendations for the programme. Those not selected, will have the opportunity to train in the Development Programme as per below, and participate in District Fixtures and Festival.
Dunedin Emerging Players Y9-10 Boys Muster details below:
YEAR 9 - Sunday 30 August 2026, 10:15am till 11:45am @ Edgar Centre, HPC
YEAR 10 - Sunday 30 August 2026, 12:00pm till 1:30pm @ Edgar Centre, HPC

Successful selection, athletes will be invited to join in the Emerging Players Programme, followed by competing at the festival below:
Emerging Programme dates:
Date: 6, 13, 20, and 27 September 2026
Time: 12:00pm till 1:30pm
Cost: $100.00 incl. GST

Festival dates for 2026:
Year 9 and 10 -
District Fixture: 8 November 2026, 40 overs - Timaru OR Dunedin
District Fixture: 29 November 2026, T20 x2 - Dunedin
District Fixture: 6 December 2026, T20 x2 - Invercargill OR Gore OR Oamaru
District Festival: 15-17 December 2026, Alexandra
Otago Talent ID Camp: 22/23 January 2027, Dunedin
Athletes in Year 9 & 10 who do not get selected or would like to pick up additional training/development opportunities, can join the development programme as per below.
Development Programme:
Dates: 18 October, 1, and 15 November 2026
Time: TBC
Location: Edgar Centre, HPC
Registration Form: Will be provided at a later date.
Dunedin Emerging Players Y11-12 Boys Muster
Depending on registrations, we may need to split the sessions into Year 11 and Year 12's separately. This will be communicated prior to the Muster/once registrations closed on Wednesday 26 August 2026.
