Oliver Lodge's song "Te Ao Mārama" was chosen as one of the finalists for this years' Play It Strange songwriting competition. As part of being a finalist, Oliver got to record his song in a professional studio to be part of this years' Play It Strange album.

Oliver and his band, Anamika Jones (vocals), Jayden Deuster-Parker (bass), and Jamie Hall (Drums) spent the afternoon at Otago university's beautiful main studio recording and mixing the song. Hugh Harlow, and Stephen Stedman who teach the studio production courses were amazing at working with the band and we are excited to hear the final product that will be released for the album!
