I would like to draw your attention to the best Level 1 results in five years and, if we remove 2020 data when extra credits were ‘gifted’ to support students, this result is our best since prior to 2017. This is our first cohort to have completed the three years of Te Tīmataka year 7-9 structure. We reduced our year 11 credit offerings in 2024, significantly reducing the number of credits available to be achieved during Year 11. This means that a result like this is even more significant, and similarly for those who achieved an excellence endorsement (50 excellence credits gained in the year).
Our Level 2 results are the best in four years and are comparably stronger than their peers nationally and peers who are in similar schools (same equity band). The number of Excellent Endorsements were impressive, and this can be seen in the group photos showing the students who received Academic Blues.
Congratulations to all our students who achieved their goals last year and thank you to their teachers who continue to want the very best for every student in their class.
