On Tuesday 20th October we held our annual sports awards evening. This evening of celebration offered a chance to reflect on and celebrate the inspiring sporting success stories and the achievements of our students across the summer and winter sporting seasons for 2026.
Congratulations to all students who crossed the stage for different reasons, achieving one or more of the following;
Outstanding Contribution Award
Excellence Award
Sporting Blue Award
Outstanding Achievement and/or
Gold Award
2026 has been another busy and rewarding year with so many students participating and giving new sports a go. Thank you to our guest speaker, Silver Fern Jodi Brown, 61-test international and member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for providing inspiring words for us all to hear.
A special congratulations to our Major Award Winners of the evening:
Student Coach of the Year: Leah Olsen
Team of the Year: Senior A Boys Volleyball Team
McLaughlan Trophy for Contribution and Commitment to Sport: Molly Kirk and Paige Clarke

Amelia Bresanello captured some wonderful photos of the award winners across the evening. We look forward to making these photos available for our community to view next week. Attached however are some photos of our major award winners on the evening.
After a fantastic season of sport we are now looking forward to 2027 with great anticipation. I would also like to wish our departing Year 13 students all the very best for what lies ahead in 2027 and beyond. Well done everyone.
