Trinity Catholic College Second in Co-Ed Sports Tournament (2026)

On Thursday 2 July 2026, Trinity competed in the annual Co-ed Schools Sports Tournament. Competing against Bayfield High School, Logan Park High School, Taieri College, Kaikorai Valley College and East Otago High School in 5 different sports - Badminton, Basketball, Football, Hockey and Netball. The overall code and grade places are listed below;

• Junior Boys Basketball - 1st

• Senior Girls Basketball - 2nd

• Senior Boys Basketball - 3rd

• Senior A Netball - 3rd

• Junior A Netball - 1st Equal

• Senior Badminton - 2nd and 3rd in the mixed grades

• Senior A Boys Football - 3rd

• Senior A Girls Football - 1st

• Hockey Mixed Team - 3rd

Overall Trinity placed second with a total of 34 points, and only 1 point behind the winners Logan Park High School. My thanks to all staff and volunteers, coaches, and managers that helped to make the day a sucess. We look forward to going one better in 2027.
