Otago Secondary School Athletics Champs

On Saturday 14th March Trinity had 11 athletes competing in the Otago Secondary School Athletics Champs at the Caledonian.

Some notable performances came from;

• Mata Taua (second in the shot put)

• Tom Lanham (first in the U15 boys High Jump)

• Eamon Henderson (4th in the 1500m with a personal best time)

• Asher Armstrong (4th in the 1500m U20 and also a personal best time)

• Cooper Whareaitu (5th in the shot put)

• Logan Thompson also made both finals of the 100m and 200m.

Thanks to Rachel Turner who managed the day and looked after all our students. We are incredibly lucky to have staff at Trinity who are so willing to give up their time outside of work to support our amazing students.
