Junior A Boys Go Down in Thrilling Final To Waitaki Boys

Our Junior A Boys Basketball team went down in a nail biter on Wednesday afternoon in the Premier Junior Boys Final 57-52. The boys got off to a hot start with Sean Racaza on fire from the 3 point line and Deacon Browne strong driving to the hoop. The momentum swung towards Waitaki in the last quarter and some strong defence turned the game in their favour.

The Junior Girls unfortunately lost their semi Final on Friday night 49-45 to Otago Girls High School, Lulu Mahoney was particularly impressive with her strong drives to the hoop.
